BA1b: Research | Week 11

This week I am just updating my blog and putting everything in order so that I can submit my worked without any kind of problems. One of the points that I feel that I have to improve is definitely my blog because sometimes I am watching and reading things that could be posted, but I forget to do it. Overall I just feel glad that I have finished, writing is definitely not one of my strengths but it is something that I feel that it is important and that has to be done in order to improve it. 

BA1b: Stop Motion Project | Week 8

Now I am just working on the blog and making things be organised. Something that I really need to improve is the research that I blog, because I feel that I don't do enough. So I am just preparing everything to submit so that I can be ready for any problem. I am happy with the result of the project and I think I know where I need to improve to have a better performance. 

BA1b: Animated Sketchbook | Week 11

This week I am just preparing everything to submission so that I can deliver my work without any problems. I am just glad that I finished this project and I think that my animations are looking good despite some problems they are very believable and their movement looked very natural. So, now I just want to submit every work soon as possible.

BA1b: Introduction to Digital 3D | Week 7

At this point I have everything ready to submit I just think that I should have done some kind of research but I was not very sure what to look for. I also feel that I could have explored more, but I'm just glad that I had time to do some animations by myself.  This week I finished updating my blog and now I am just posting everything on the blog.

BA1b: Research | Week 10

This week I improved my essay but it still has some grammar mistakes so, I am just review it again. One of the things that I noted when studying Frankenweenie was that when I finished analyse it I was no longer sure if Victor was truly the only hero of the movie. Sparky, his dog, has a role that made me doubt if he's not the hero as well since he goes through the same stages as his own way. But it was interesting to analyse a movie using the Hero's Journey concept,where I had to look carefully and identify the different stages.

BA1b: Animated Sketchbook | Week 10

This week I finished my self portrait and the cactus. I am very pleases with the result of the self portrait and I think that it looks very nice. I think that I could have explored more the facial expressions of the cactus, but I am just glad that I finished at point. Now I can focus on updating and organising my blog because I have so many drafts on it. So, I just need to sit down and put everything in order. At the same time I want to get the things ready to submit soon as possible and without any problems.

BA1b: Introduction to Digital 3D | Week 6

So this week I did one animation where I add some follow through to the movement of the rig. It worked very well and I think that his movement was natural and credible. However, I am doing so many things at the same time that I forgot to publish and update my blog so I think that I am not going to do more animations. In that way I can focus on updating my blog because I have not post much from this project yet.

BA1b: Stop Motion Project | Week 7

So this week I have improved the bouncing ball and the "boxman" animation I am pleased with the result. Despite some problems with the consistency of the movements when the character is lifting the box and with the position of the ball, the two animation are more fluent and believable so I am really happy with the improvement of the quality of the sequences. I just keep forgetting to publish things on my blog and I shouldn't but sometimes I watch interesting things and don't blog them, that is something that I really need to improve as well.

BA1b: Introduction to Digital 3D | Exploring the rig | Football

So I did this animation because I wanted to try to apply some follow through to the character. Considering that I already had done a running cycle I decided to carry on that idea and add a ball, making the character kick the ball so that I could add some follow through to his movement. In the end it worked well and his movement looks natural.

BA1b: Animated Sketchbook | Cactus

For my final animation I did a cactus and I wanted to give human attributes to him. My goal was in this animation explore the shape and the facial expressions of the character. So, I had the idea of making him to try to leave the vase and afterwards, make him fall to the side. I didn't had much time to do this but so that was one of the reasons that I made it very simple. The animation looks good but I feel that I could have explored more about his facial expression. Overall I think that the timing of the animation is good and the anticipation, exaggeration and stretch and squash makes the animation believable.
